Cookie Policy
Last updated: 16 September 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit place on your device. This site also uses similar technologies, in particular your browser’s local storage, which work in the same way and are covered by this policy.
Some of them are necessary for the site to work and do not require your consent. Others load content and services provided by third parties, and are used only after you have agreed to them.
2. How to give or withdraw your consent
The first time you visit, a banner lets you accept or decline the services that require consent. Both choices take exactly one click. Closing the banner without choosing is not consent: until you make a choice, nothing that requires consent is loaded.
Your choice is remembered for 180 days. You can change it at any time through the “Cookie preferences” button at the bottom left of every page. If you withdraw your consent, those services stop being loaded and what they stored in your browser is removed. The live chat is not covered by this choice: see section 4.
3. Strictly necessary — no consent required
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Joomla session cookie | Keeps your session while you browse and submit forms. | Session |
sj_eduonline_tpl | Remembers display preferences of the site template, such as layout and colour. | [to verify] |
nrid | EngageBox: remembers which information boxes you have already closed, so they are not shown again. | About 12 days |
examsimul_cookie_consent | Records your cookie choice, so the banner is not shown to you again. | 180 days |
Delivery and security (Cloudflare)
This site is served through Cloudflare, which may set technical cookies to protect it from automated attacks and to tell real visitors from bots. These cookies are set by Cloudflare as part of delivering the site and are not used to profile you. [to verify: exact names and durations, which depend on the protection settings in use.]
Audience measurement without cookies (Cloudflare Web Analytics)
The site counts page views using Cloudflare Web Analytics. This tool is designed to work without cookies: it stores nothing on your device and does not track you across other websites.
Anti-spam on the contact form (Google reCAPTCHA)
The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to tell human visitors from automated systems. It is loaded only on the pages that contain the form, and it sets cookies on Google’s own domains. Provider: Google Ireland Limited. [to verify with your privacy adviser: whether reCAPTCHA should be treated as a strictly necessary security measure or moved behind consent.]
4. Live chat (OnWebChat)
The chat lets you talk to us directly from the site. It is loaded on every page from www.onwebchat.com, which receives your IP address, and it stores the two keys below in your browser’s local storage.
The chat is loaded without waiting for your consent, because it is how you reach us while you are on the site. [to verify with your privacy adviser: whether this is acceptable as a functional service, or whether the chat should also be placed behind consent.]
| Key | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
onwbchtclientid | Local storage | Identifies your chat client so a conversation can continue across pages. | Until removed |
onwbchtsessionrandom | Local storage | Identifies the individual chat session. | Until removed |
5. Loaded only with your consent
Reviews (Trustpilot)
The Trustpilot widget shows our rating and recent reviews. It is loaded from widget.trustpilot.com, which receives your IP address, and sets cookies on Trustpilot’s own domains. Provider: Trustpilot A/S. Until you accept, the widget is not loaded and only a plain link to our Trustpilot page is shown.
6. Translation widget (GTranslate)
The language selector is provided by GTranslate and loaded from cdn.gtranslate.net. It is a functional component of the site: it is what lets you read these pages in another language. [to verify with your privacy adviser: whether it should also be placed behind consent.]
7. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Every browser works differently: look for “Privacy”, “Cookies” or “Site data” in its preferences. Please note that blocking all cookies, including the strictly necessary ones, may stop parts of this site from working.
8. Who to contact
For any question about this policy, or to exercise your rights over your personal data, write to [email protected]. Further information on how we process personal data is in our Privacy Policy.
[to complete: the legal name and registered address of the data controller, as stated in the Privacy Policy.]
