Fourth of the five parts of the PeopleCert online exam guide: the check-in. The video follows the sequence from launching ExamShield to being admitted by the proctor — the connection test, the identity check, the room scan with the webcam, and the moment the paper is released.

Knowing the order matters because check-in is timed and a candidate who is improvising loses minutes that come out of nothing. It also sets expectations: the proctor will ask you to do things, and being ready for the request is the difference between a two-minute check-in and a ten-minute one. The final part of the guide covers the session itself.
