  • Candidates must already hold a valid ITIL® 4 Foundation certification or an equivalent qualification recognized by PeopleCert, as the Bridge route is designed for candidates upgrading their knowledge to ITIL® v5.
  • To be able to take the exam, it is necessary to have read and accepted the terms and conditions of the examination institute, available in English. Acceptance of these terms and conditions must be confirmed when taking the exam.

The ITIL® v5 Foundation Bridge exam consists of 20 multiple-choice questions.

  • The time allowed for the exam is 30 minutes (35 minutes for candidates taking the exam in a language that is not their native or working language).
  • You must achieve 65% or more (13 out of 20 marks) to pass.
  • All questions should be attempted — there is no negative marking.
  • The exam includes four question styles: Standard, Negative, Missing word(s), and List (select 2 correct items from 4).
  • The exam is closed book — no materials are permitted during the exam.
