What is ITIL
An introduction to ITIL for people who keep hearing the acronym without a clear answer to what it actually is. ITIL is a framework for IT service management: a body of guidance about how an organisation designs, delivers, supports and improves the services it provides, published and maintained as a certification scheme.
The video covers what the framework is for, who uses it and what problem it was built to solve. It is the right starting point if you are deciding whether a certification is relevant to your work, before looking at the certification path and the individual modules.
